Crescent rolls
“Kiflice” (crescent rolls) is a traditional food all over the Balkans. They can be sweet and savory, yet the one thing they have in common is that when hot out of the oven, just as the "Proja", they offer ultimate delight.
Homemade crescent rolls with cheese
To prepare them you will need about 40 minutes, and though they might not seem so easy to make, when you catch the smell of warm crescents in the air you’ll forget the hardships. :-)
Ingredients (6 servings):
■ 500 ml milk ■ 1 fresh yeast
■ 2 tbs sugar ■ 1 kg flour ■ 3 eggs
■ 300 g cheese ■ 1 margarine ■ oil
■ salt ■ ground black pepper
